Audrey Poe

Audrey Smalley Poe, age 94, of Northport, Alabama, passed away December 13, 2023 at her residence. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 18, 2023, at Concord Cemetery in Fayette County with Bro. Drew Heurion officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tulley and Earline Smalley; husband, Johnny Poe; brothers, Hawthorne Smalley and Huey Charles Smalley; and sister, Elizabeth Pate.

Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Riley (Rod) and Kathy Hollingshead (Chuck); sons, Mark Poe (Beth) and Sherrill Smalley (Martha); special niece, Jennifer Smelser; sister-in-law, Mary Jo Looser; grandchildren, Josh Hollingshead (Rachel) and Lance Poe (Deanna); great-grandchildren, Riley and Reece Hollingshead; Allie Kate, Cason, and Cooper Poe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She loved watching Alabama Football and the Atlanta Braves. Her family, especially the great-grandchildren, were the highlight of her life and she loved them dearly.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Five Points Baptist Church.
