Annie Strickland

Annie Merle (Beck) Strickland, age 78, of Northport, AL, passed away June 3, 2021. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 7, 2021, at Magnolia Chapel North with Rev. Kelly Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (Buhl, AL) with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Levert and Novies Beck; husband, Edgar Junior Strickland; daughter, Vanessa Strickland; sisters, Minnie Goodman and Geraldine Sellers; brothers, Billy, Donnie and Joe Beck; and daughter-in-law, Sara Strickland.

Survivors include her sons, Ken, Dennis (Kim) and Benny Strickland; grandchildren, Drew (Elise), Nick, Kenneth, Alisha and Michael.

Pallbearers will be Drew, Nick and Kenneth Strickland, and Richard Jacobs.

Ann was a good and faithful servant of her Lord and Savior and is now resting in His arms. She was the glue that held her family together and will be deeply missed by them and many friends.
