Allene Mccray

Allene L. McCray, age 92, of Tuscaloosa died December 23rd in Moundville, Alabama. Services will be Friday, December 26th at Noon at Magnolia Chapel South. Viewing will be from 10-12. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. McCray, her parents, John Elmer Lovell and Missouri Simmons Lovell and her siblings: Vera Galbreath, Earline Hannah, Horace Lovell, Grady Lovell, James Martin, Lois Brower, Frances Baker. She is survived by her son, Mike McCray, her daughter Anita McCray (Mario Klaric) and her grandsons, Boris and Edmond Klaric, as well as her siblings, Jean Howard, Linda Harvell and Johnny Lovell and numerous nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Allene was a long time employee of First National Bank of Tuscaloosa and AmSouth Bank. She was also a past state president of the American Legion Auxillary, VA hospital volunteer and counselor at Girls' State for many years. Pallbearers will be Dwight Williams, David Williams, Danny Matherson, Boris Klaric, Edmond Klaric and Richard McCray.
