Aline Mills Terry Tuscaloosa / Aline Mills Terry age 84 died December 31, 2014 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services willl be held on Sunday January 4, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel South at 2:00pm with Bro. Ed King and Bro. Jeremy Burrage officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm Saturday January 3, 2015 at Magnolia Chapel South. She is preceded in death by her husband: Tom Lee Terry, parents: James Roy Sr. And Beulah Mills, sister: Sara Hargle brothers: James Roy Mills, Jr., Thomas Mills, Johnny Mills, Cullen Mills, Archie Mills & Harry Mills Survivors include her son: Donald Terry grandchildren: Julie Terry Montgomery (Josh) and Jason Terry (Sophia) great grandchildren: Brandon Montgomery & Caylee Montgomery sisters: Carolyn Goodwin (Bill), Mae Frost (Gordon), Kay Fields, Mary Ruth Howard (Jerry) brothers: Ben Mills & Hallie Mills sisters in law: Sally Ann Townsend (Jack) & Louise Mayfield, Pauline Mills, Johnnie Frances Mills, and Gussie Mills. Numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jason Terry, Brandon Montgomery, Josh Montgomery, Mark Terry, Shane Mills, John Mills, Byron Mills & David Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Anne Lewis, Dr. Lydia Stephanescu, Dr. Patricia Antero, Dr. Nancy Tatuck, Nurses of ACCU, Linda's Hair Designs, Temple Baptist, Little Sandy Baptist, Crestline Baptist, friends and neighbors of Sandy Springs, Mike & Cathy Sparks,Hale County High School Class of 1948. Aline was a loving mother, grandmother & sister. Her family was her biggest priority. She was the 3rd oldest out of 14 siblings. She graduated from Hale County High School in 1948. On July 3, 1954, she married her classmate, Tom Lee. They had one son, Don. She was a wonderful mother & best friend to Don. She was the best grandmother to Julie & Jason. Her babies were Brandon and Caylee. She was able to babysit Brandon until he was 4 years old and spoiled him rotten. She loved for him to spend the night with her and she was so proud of all if his accomplishments so far. She loved having tea parties and playing school with Caylee. She was always there for her brothers and sisters when they needed her. She retired from Partlow and she was a member of Temple Baptist Church. She loved reading and working puzzle books. She will forever be missed and our family will never be the same. In lieu of flowers, please donate in her memory to your favorite charity.
