Alice Mildred "Mitt" Walker

TUSCALOOSA - Alice Mildred "Mitt" Walker, age 91, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died November 6, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Dr. Herb Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas E. Walker; father, Jessie Thomas Scarbrough; and mother, Edna Johnston Scarbrough.

Survivors include her daughter, Judy Walker Johnson (Rickey); son, Tommy Walker (Sharon); brother, Roger Scarbrough; grandchildren, Brad Walker, Brent Johnson (Paige), Carson Walker and Grant Johnson (Heather); and great-grandchildren, Amanda Johnson, Chase Johnson, Christopher Miller, Kate Johnson, Reece Johnson (Heather), Turner Johnson and Tyler Johnson.

Pallbearers will be Grant Johnson, Brent Johnson, Reece Johnson, Turner Johnson and Tyler Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers are Circlewood Baptist Church - Brother Herb's Sunday School Class, Lou Latham, Roy Simpson and Debra Hutt.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that contributions be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
