Alfred E. Ericson NORTHPORT Alfred E. "Bud"� Ericson, age 91, of Northport, died Oct. 12, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. today, Oct. 14, 2013, at Magnolia Chapel North with Rev. Alan Roggli. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gwendolyn Ericson, and son, Alfred E. Ericson Jr. Survivors include his son, Rod Ericson (Nina); grandchildren, Nathan and Madalyn Keys; two great grandchildren, Hope and Jacob Keys; and several nieces. He was a life long member of Lion's Club, and a very loving father and grandfather. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Pallbearers will be Jerry Rogers, Dan Kizziah, Eric Goss, Pat Ponds, David Hollingsworth, Kevin Morgan, and Eddie Hamner. Honorary pallbearers are members of his Sunday School class at Carrolls Creek Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Carrolls Creek Baptist Church Building Fund.
