A. G. Bridges Jr. TUSCALOOSA | A. G. Bridges, Jr., age 81, of Tuscaloosa, died March 5, 2014, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 7, 2014, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Brother Steve Wyatt officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. He was preceded in death by his parents, A. G. Bridges, Sr. and Viola Bridges and one daughter, Nancy Bridges. Survivors include his wife, Annette Bridges; sons, Glenn Bridges (Julie) and Greg Bridges (Nikki); and grandchildren, Becky, Lauren, Cole and Colin Bridges. Pallbearers will be Cole Bridges, Colin Bridges, Don Phillips, C. D. Elliott, Paul Gartman, Tom Bolden and Jerry Belk. Honorary pallbearers are David Hitt, Judy Phillips, Bobby Walker, Betty Oliver, Norma Ball, The Joy and Steve Wyatt Sunday School classes at Valley View Baptist Church, Tuscaloosa High School Class of 1950, employees of Bama Exterminating Company, Hubert and Jewel Lee, Milton and Patsy Sims, C. B. and Jane Burroughs, and Johnny Johnson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama and Valley View Baptist Church Building Fund.
