Adrian M. Smith NORTHPORT Adrian M. Smith, age 67, of Northport, died Nov. 4, 2012, at home. Services will be 1 p.m. today at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North with Bro. Jerry Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Arbor Springs Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. Visitation will be two hours prior to services at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Lola Smith, and his brothers, Freddie B. Smith and Truman Smith. Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Ina Barbee (Beams) Smith; his daughter, Kristie Ellis (Keith); his sons, Dwayne Smith (Melissa), Chad Smith, and Brian Smith; his sisters, Velvie Barnes, Lorene Pugh, Gracie Rushing, Darlene Snyder (Grover), Irene Spencer (Mike), and Linda Cunningham (Mike); his brothers, Herman Smith and Gary Doyle Smith (Connie); his sister-in-law, Lougene Watson (Kurt); and his grandchildren whom he cherished dearly, Tristan, Alason, Braeden, Klara, Christian, Ethan, Dontae, and Jaden. He ran Searcy Battles and Woodridge Auto Parts for 26 years. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic for many years until he became disabled. He was a loving father and Pawpaw and will be greatly missed. Pallbearers will be Mike Cunningham, Doug Smith, Todd Richardson, Phillip Hall, Harold Barnes, Charles E. Beams, Dale Beams, and J.C. Bryant. Honorary pallbearers are Alacare Home Health & Hospice, Dr. Steve Lovelady, Dr. Lopez, Dr. Dinesh Chandra, and many friends, family, and neighbors.
