Daniel Fancher Yaeger Aarhus, age 28 went to his heavenly home on August 27, 2020. He passed away at Baylor Scott White Hospital in Round Rock, Texas. Daniel grew up in Tuscaloosa and was currently residing in Jarrell, Texas with his wife Mallory. To know Daniel was to know love. He was a bright young man who brought a smile to everyone around him. He was blunt but honest; funny but serious; and the most loving person. Daniel will forever be remembered for his heart for Jesus and his heart to serve. He had a passion for the next generation. He was a light in a dark room and no matter his storm he was always intentional to share the Gospel. Daniel was a leader and didn't need a title to tell him that, he was able to walk with joy through the toughest situations life can offer. He loved his wife deeply and unconditionally.
There will be a celebration of life on September 3, 2020 at Daniel's home church, 601 Westinghouse Road in Georgetown Texas. The service will begin at 10:00 am with Pastor Joe Champion officiating. A funeral service will be held at Magnolia Chapel South in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on Saturday, September 5, 2020, at 10:00 am with Bubba Massey officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. A private family only burial will follow. The family has requested that all attendees follow social distancing guidelines and wear a mask at both services.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Claude Fredrick Wallace, Jr. and grandmother Bobbie Ann Fancher Wallace.
Survivors include his wife Mallory Ellen Aarhus, parents; David and Suzi Yaeger, brother; Matthew Yaeger (Ellie), sister; ClaudiaAnn Yaeger William (Jimbo), nephews; Thomas "Toby" Claude Yaeger, Matthew "Fitts" Yaeger, James "Wallace" Williams, and niece; Annsley David Williams. Uncle Danny Wallace (Cheryl),cousins Megan Sewell (Collin)and Trevor Wallace (Courtney), grandmother; Darlene Riddle Wallace, In laws; Mark and Tania Aarhus, sister in laws; Megan Aarhus Whitson (Justin), Scout and Justus Aarhus and Coral Strohl.
Pallbearers will be Matthew Yaeger, Jimbo Williams, Trevor Wallace, Collin Sewell, Nelson Parsons, Michael Canterbury, Kyle Morrison and Avery Montgomery.
Honorary pallbearers are Kris Pelky, Celebration Student Ministry, Justin Whitson, Circlewood Baptist Church, Big Sandy and Taylorville Elementary faculty and staff, Hillcrest /Taylorville Community, ACA class of 2011, ACA baseball team, San Antonio Transplant team, Dr. Robert Cerfolio of UAB, Dr. Brian Wilhite, Dr. Keith Debell, Church of the Highlands, and Daniel's friends that are to numerous to list.
