Billy Ray Elmore

TUSCALOOSA - Billy Ray Elmore, age 87, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., passed away July 19, 2020 at Forest Manor. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at Magnolia Chapel South followed by a private burial. Magnolia Chapel South Funeral Home is directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Karen Elmore; parents, Troy C. and Estelle Elmore; and brothers, Ralph and Hunter Elmore.

Survivors include his wife, Ella Sue Sullivan Elmore; daughter, Rebecca Schmitz (Pete); son, Billy Ray Elmore, II; special daughter, Suzanne Knox (Steven); grandchildren, Daniel Hallman and Ethan Elmore (Nikki); and great-granddaughter, Adeline "Addie Bug".

Billy was a man of faith and had an extensive knowledge of the Bible. He taught Sunday school and classes on the books of the prophecy through his life. He had a tremendous love for his Savior, Jesus Christ, his family and the Alabama Football!

Honorary pallbearers are Taylorville Baptist Church Men’s Sunday School Class.
