James D. "Danny" Milam III, 63, of Tuscaloosa, Alabama went home with the angels Friday, April 23rd, 2021 at his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, James "Jim" D. Milam II, Albert Bruner and Patricia Milam Bruner, his sister, Melissa Bruner Goodwin, and brother, Ricky Bruner.
He was survived by his wife of 24 years, Crystal L. Milam, son Damon Gentry (Heather) of Beaverton, OR., daughters Angela D. Gentry-McNeil (Marc) of Downsville, LA and Erin L. Prestage (Lanny) of Tuscaloosa, AL. Seven grandchildren, Kelly Gentry, Haley Gentry, Dylan Gentry, Jacob Langmeier, Noah Langmeier, Jacie Prestage and James Prestage. Along with an adopted granddaughter Kayla Smith (Nathan) of Fairbanks, AK. Two great grandchildren, Maximus Smith and Alexander Smith.
He is also survived by one brother Larry Bruner of West Blockton, AL three sisters Judy Harbin Britt (Britt) of Tuscaloosa, AL, Steciney Grimsley (Len) of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Rhonda Hodges (Robert) of Tuscaloosa, AL, sister-in-law, Pat Bruner of Tuscaloosa, AL. Several nieces of nephews and countless friends.
Mr. Milam worked as an over-the-road truck driver prior to retirement with Morris Transportation in Hamburg, AR. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
