Homer Edward "Jerry" Harbin
TUSCALOOSA} Homer Edward "Jerry" Harbin, age 75 of Tuscaloosa, died on May 5, 2018 at home. Services will be held on Wednesday May 9, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church with Jimmy Pritchett and Darrell Harbin officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow in the Harbin Family Cemetery . Visitation will be two hour prior to services at Oak Grove Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his father, Clinton Homer Harbin, and mother Katie Stephens Harbin, brother; Donald (Duck) Carey Harbin, sister; Janie Harbin Smith, and granddaughter Chaney Hallman.

Survivors include his wife, Rubye Taylor Harbin, siblings, George William Harbin (Carolyn), Cynthia Harbin Kirkland (Ray), and James Mikel Harbin; children, Jerri Lynn McCrory (Danny), Bubba Harbin (LaShonda), Wanda Harbin Johnson (Danny), and Bridgett Eady; grandchildren, Josh Harbin (Amber), Brittney Colburn Lavender (Jerry), Kandis Harbin, Laci Colburn Wallace (Matt), Brandon Johnson, Kelli Hallman, Reba Johnson, Collin Hallman and Ethan Johnson, and one great grandchild, Elleigh Grace Lavender.

Jerry was a retired building contractor. He was an avid coon hunter and fisherman, he also loved watching Nascar and Alabama Football.

Pallbearers are Ronnie Bailey, Scott Hallman, David Harbin, Tommy Stephens, Slack Vawlters and Buddy Wyatt.
